I have a lovely attic for rent. It comprises a double bedroom with little sitting area by the window and a nice bathroom/toilet for your use only. There is basic cooking equipment so that you can be self-contained (fridge, microwave, kettle). If you like cooking a lot, it may not suit you.
I would consider a couple if they are both working.
The attic is light and airy and there are views of Ashdown Forest from the velux window in the bathroom. Entry is through the house but otherwise the accommodation is private, self-contained and separate from the rest of the house.
I am a busy, very active professional with university age children who sometimes come home at the weekend. I really like and get on well with young people, and would like a friendly relationship with the lodger(s), although the living arrangements are mostly separate.
There is a pleasant and nice sized patio and garden available, and plenty of space for parking.
I would prefer a non-smoker, although smoking in the garden would be fine.
