We are looking for a Respectful, open minded person to join us in a modern two story town house directly opposite Crystal Palace Park,
We are social and enjoy entertainment but generally like to keep the noise down after 11pm as we are working full-time .
the room is available from September 2011 & includes a choice out of two double rooms but you can move in ASAP due to spare room.
The rooms are semi-furnished with a bed and basic facilities but have room to personalise.
We like to keep a room spare
The location is in a beautiful, quiet, residential area with really good travel links.
Sydenham, Penge and Crystal Palace high streets are all within walking distance we live across the road from Crystal Place Park which also has an a renowned sports centre with a wide range of sports facilities.
The travel connections include Crystal Place, Sydenham, Penge East and West stations; all within walking distance and there is also an excellent bus service. (please see bottom of advert for transport details).
We have a large fitted kitchen with:
plenty of fridge/freezer and cupboard space,
a dish washer, washing and dryer machines,
and a fan assisted oven and microwave.
The bathroom is on the second floor and has a bath and a power shower; there is also a toilet on the ground floor.
The lounge is on the ground floor with;
TV with a free view box,
PS3, PS2 and a Game cube with plenty of games,
and the option of a Virgin cable TV account.
There is a front garden and a secluded back garden to hang out in including a patio with two tables and a big BBQ
The parking facilities include driveway on-street parking.
There is also a big loft handy for storage with a pull down ladder.
We have a very fast internet connection; 24mb down 2.5mb up, with both 1gb wired network and wireless
We have lived here for 22 months and really like the house, its location, the travel connections and the local facilities.
There are 3 People you will be sharing with, Mark, Darren & Carly
Mark (29) works in the IT Department of a local University.
He loves music, film & TV, computers, enjoys the occasional outing to a party, is very easygoing, knowledgeable and sociable & likes to plays video games (when he has time).
Darren (39) works for a homeless charity,
He enjoys films, video games and computers, politics,
Carly (25) does work with charity's that help young people,
She enjoys Films, Music, going out & Socialising.
The tenancy is ongoing & requires that you give at least 2 months notice to allow us time to find a suitable replacement.
Our landlord and tenancy require that you are in full-time employment or have a guaranteed income to pass the credit check.
The costs breaks down into:
£435.00 for Rent + Council Tax (Direct Debit - Payable to Landlord)

£10.50 - Broadband
£35.00 - Gas and Electric (varies slightly depending on season)
