I'm a freelance photographer (with plenty of work) looking for something that costs a maximum of 700/month (if all bills are included). Ideally Stoke Newington, Newington Green, Islington, Dalston, Shoreditch, Hoxton or some other north london area with some atmosphere and nightlife nearby.

I'd either like a studio/1 bedroom alone or a flat share with one person or couple at the most.

I need a pretty large room as I'll be working on the computer (Photoshop) in the same space...unless there's another room available for this in the same house/flat.

As with any share situation, we'd have to meet and feel like we'd get on living together in the same place.

The place must be pretty quiet at night (deal breaker for me) but am otherwise quite easy to live with.
