We have a furnished double room available in our lovely bright flat in Chalk Farm. The room is available from 21 August 2011 and the location couldn't be better.

The room is a reasonable size and has a double bed, 3 door wardrobe, bed side table, drawers and shelving unit in it. The flat has a good sized modern kitchen with everything you would expect and a nice bright lounge. We are split across two floors so the flat feels very 'roomy'.

We are about a 3 minute walk to Chalk Farm station on the Northern Line. Kentish Town West and Kentish Town station are both within a 15 minute walk. We are very close to Camden High Street and Haverstock Hill. Primrose Hill is only a 10 minute walk away. There are plenty of shops, cafes, bars and restaurants within walking distance and the flat is in a nice safe area. Parking permits are available from the council for about £10 a month.

The rent is £700 a month and all bills (including council tax) come to an absolute maximum of £130 each.

You would be sharing with me and my boyfriend (although he works abroad for months at a time). I work in the City and can work long hours but enjoy socialising, cooking, watching films and playing netball. Our current flatmate is moving out to be closer to work but we would like to fill her room as we love the flat and the landlady is very helpful.

I am an owner occupier and I have a room to rent just outside Leeds centre. It's decent sized double room. Fully furnished with double bed, bedside table, wardrobe and chest of drawers. Space for more furniture if needed. The flat is a short walk into town with buses running regularly from just outside.

I have put that the room is en-suite. Although this is not strictly true, it does have it's own bathroom. There is also access to Cable TV/High speed broadband/Washer-Dryer/Xbox. The flat has a balcony which overlooks the communal courtyard area.

The rent may look a bit pricey, but it's inclusive of all bills. That way, everybody knows where they stand. I will also consider Weekday only rents if appropriate.

I would ideally be looking for a professional male. I am fairly easy going, although I do need someone with a fairly high living standard. I am quite particular about cleanliness, although not to the point of obsessive compulsiveness. It would also be nice to find someone to become friends with, and be able to socialise with on some evenings, so here's a little about me.

I currently work in finance, as well as being a professional musician in my spare time. I like the finer things in life, such as wine, eating out, all things technological and have a huge weakness for karaoke. As well as being quite sociable, I also require my own space at times. I have a very dry sense of humour and love a good bit of banter.

I am a smoker, however please don't let that put you off as I always go outside so the flat does not smell!
