I am looking for a flatmate to stay in a well furnished, non-smoking, 3 bed flat in Townhead. The room has a queen-sized bed, a large cupboard with mirrors, a desk and shelves. Our kitchen is well equipped with a cooker microwave etc. The living room is a good size, with a TV and internet. The shower is electric, so there will be no worries about cold showers in the morning!
The only bills to pay would be the electricity bill and the TV/internet bill and the deposit is £250.
The flat is very well insulated, I have lived here for the past 2 winters and it's never been cold.
I'm looking for a student to move in for either 5 or 12 months. The flat is really close to Strathclyde university and Calidonian university, only a 5 minute walk. We have a furnished double room available in our lovely bright flat in Chalk Farm. The room is available from 21 August 2011 and the location couldn't be better.
The room is a reasonable size and has a double bed, 3 door wardrobe, bed side table, drawers and shelving unit in it. The flat has a good sized modern kitchen with everything you would expect and a nice bright lounge. We are split across two floors so the flat feels very 'roomy'.
We are about a 3 minute walk to Chalk Farm station on the Northern Line. Kentish Town West and Kentish Town station are both within a 15 minute walk. We are very close to Camden High Street and Haverstock Hill. Primrose Hill is only a 10 minute walk away. There are plenty of shops, cafes, bars and restaurants within walking distance and the flat is in a nice safe area. Parking permits are available from the council for about £10 a month.
The rent is £700 a month and all bills (including council tax) come to an absolute maximum of £130 each.
You would be sharing with me and my boyfriend (although he works abroad for months at a time). I work in the City and can work long hours but enjoy socialising, cooking, watching films and playing netball. Our current flatmate is moving out to be closer to work but we would like to fill her room as we love the flat and the landlady is very helpful.
