The room is medium size, has a full size double bed, large wardrobe, and a large bedside cabinet. There's a large shelf on the wall, a full length mirror, and also room for a chest of draws.
It's a first floor 3 bedroomed flat on Coniston Avenue. It was fully re-decorated last year and is all very nicely furnished. The living room has a big sofa, chair, coffee table, and loads of cupboard space. There is a brand new bathroom with a large walk in shower. The kitchen has all the usual appliances, and everyone has their own large cupboard.
The location is absolutely perfect. Having lived in every different area of Newcastle and even other parts of Jesmond myself over the last 5 years, I can honestly say I think this is the best. Tesco, the metro, and The Lonsdale Pub are all under 1 minute walk away. All the other bars, restaurants and shops on Osbourne Road are under 5 mins walk, and the city centre is about 15 minutes walk away (or 5 minutes on the Metro).
There is residential street parking and there's normally a space right outside the house. It's really easy to get a permit from the Civic Centre.
The other flatmates are a Postgrad Student and a young Professional, both 25 years old. I've been really good mates with them the whole time I've been in Newcastle and shared houses with them for years. They are both fun, friendly, and really social guys, and both are very experienced when it comes to house sharing! They are really laid back which makes them easy to get on with, and clean/tidy and do their share of house stuff. They are happy to live with either sex.
The rent is £300 a month (£69/wk) and the contract runs until August, after that it will become monthly so you could move out whenever. Water, Leccy and Gas is around £45 a month. There is also wifi Broadband and TV. I've already paid the fees, deposit, and TV license for the year so you can get all that free!
