Shorey is looking for share accommodation in Bristol

If you can't afford this we could do something lesser, but a furnished house would be preferred, so we won't have to face troubles of furnishing (would be very stressful).

Shannon is looking for share accommodation in London SW

Hi!
My boyfriend and I are Australians (25 and 26) who have just moved to the UK on two year working visas. I am starting a job as a supply teacher in the Kingston on Thames region next week and we need somewhere close to transport to live!! Wimbledon, Surbiton and Kingston are the areas that are of most interest to us.

We are both sociable and friendly people who like a quiet drink in the evening and the very occasional night out at the pub. We like to travel and we envisage getting away most weekends and school breaks.

We are not sure of our plans for next year so a short term contract would be great but who knows we might love it so much that we stay!!

We both aim to be pretty active people who like to give new things a go, and we love meeting new people and sharing stories of adventures past present and future!!

Would love to hear from anyone who wants to live with us...we are very awesome people why wouldn't you get in contact??!!

Ruth is looking for share accommodation in London SW

I'm Ruth, i'm 27 and work in the city!

Im sociable and friendly but also like to have chill out time too! I love all types of music and 'doing something', whether it be socialising, drinking, sports, chilling out and always up for giving new things a go!

Ideally wanting to live somewhere where you are friends and not just 'housemates' but still have your own time too!!

I've been in London for a couple of years now and absolutely love it! I love South/ South West London so ideally looking for somewhere in this area!

I cycle to work so looking for somewhere that could house me and my bike :)

Cheers

Dan is looking for share accommodation in Portsmouth

We are a bit fed up of living the conventional life style and would prefer to live as part of a "community" with fun and like minded people.

Looking for people who are interested in creating a fun and sociable living situation somewhere in Hampshire, possibly Portsmouth.

Shared meals a few times a week, games and good chat, nights out that kind of thing.

email if you want to discuss further ideas.

Victoria Scarth is looking for share accommodation in London SE

Hi there,
I have a double room available immediately in my large two bed flat. It's to share with me a 31 year old female student, into music, travel, food and my studies & voluntary work (Midwifery etc) and my cat Denzel. Both of us are friendly and pretty chilled. I love music of all sorts, but am way past my 'all back to mine' days now. I love food and cooking and chatting over something lovely to eat and drink. I am pretty busy but am really in to being at home and making it feel nice and comfortable, and looking beautiful.
The room....
....is a double with a double bed, a side table, a couple of chests of drawers, a big window and a working fireplace.
The flat....
....is on the 2nd floor above shops in Sydenham High Street. It's a big Victorian place with lots of original features. There is a working fireplace in the lounge as well - which I do fire up occasionally in winter and it's really lovely and cosy. All the rooms of the flat are off a long hallway which makes the place seem really big and means you can get space from each other if you need/want to. The bedrooms are not next to each other either, which means even more privacy. I have kind of partitioned the lounge to create an office area.
The bathroom has an over-bath shower.
The kitchen has everything you need barring a microwave and there is a back door on to a kind of balcony/fire escape situation.
There is BT broadband which seems to work great - I've never had any problems with it. There is also Sky TV. The gas is on a card meter but I have a little machine so you can top up using the computer.
The area....
..... we're 4 minutes walk from Sydenham Station which is on the National Rail and Overground networks. It takes 16 mins to London Bridge, around 24 mins to Shoreditch, around 35 mins to Dalston and around 40 mins to Highbury. You can also get to Balham to join the Northern Line there which takes around 15 mins.
You can also walk to Penge East station, which takes about 10 minutes (or a couple of mins on the bus) and get the train direct to Brixton (6 mins) or Victoria (12 mins). There are also lots of buses and Forest Hill and Crystal Palace are a nice walk or a shirt bus ride away. Crystal Palace park is wicked, and Crystal Palace itself has loads of lovely restaurants and pubs.
The flat is opposite Co-op which is super handy and very cheap too. We also have a really good fishmonger and butcher, a couple of good veg shops and all the usual halal butchers and shops which sell everything. There is also a really good Indian called Gurkhas and a lovely Italian opposite called Trattoria Rafaele. We are virtually next door to a pub called The Dolphin. There is also a Lidl 30 secs away and a massive Sainsburys Savercentre at the bottom of the road - about 10 mins walk or a short bus ride.
Bills.....
....are included and your payment includes broadband and Sky and all the usual apart from gas which is by card meter.
Rent is payable per calendar month in advance. £350 deposit is required.
You....
.....someone who enjoys similar interests - music is really a must... and food! Either a mature student or working person. Probably over 30 but obviously just looking for the right person. Someone who is looking for a home rather than just a room to rent.
If you fancy it, drop me an email with a bit of info about yourself and we'll see if we can arrange a viewing.
